Calling this a Public Beta is kinda laughable. Public usually means open to all, not a select few. I understand there were only 10,000 of these tokens to go around. But limiting it to any number at all does not make it public. It only makes it open publicly for a short time to a Private Beta. I know some are going to disagree and thats fine. And I understand the need to limit the amount of people who can play due to the demand of the game. But don't call it Public, because its not.

there are closer to 80 thousand tokens given out in the 24 hour window alone, only 10000 are issued per day to help not flood servers. as far as it not being public, well, there were 2 oppertunities to sign up to test and BOTH times was open to public. because you were unable to sign up on time, doesnt make it NON public.
the lottery is public, so why cant i buy a ticket tomorrow for tonights drawing...oh cause the window for that PUBLIC drawing was closed....no fair, its a private lottery and i didnt win the 52 million

| This is a little not fair. What time does registration open each day? I work full time and can only come on really late. Does this mean I'll just never get a token? |

.. as far as i know, IW never claimed it to be a public beta anyway
so i don't see why the fuss over this to begin with.
where did you read the actual line, " Public Beta " ?

also, by definition, a public beta means that it is available to sign up for, and results and experiences are posted PUBLICLY. a private beta is what developers do for most other games where there is no posting of issues and experiences that occured during development.

i thought it was a public announcement but in order to get "in" you had to register and be part of the community to participate.
anyone is welcome and there will still be more opportunity to get in.
